Inspired – Journey

This was a short project, with the theme released just forty-two hours prior to the delivery time; the theme was ‘Journey’.

From within the diverse cultures of the world, there are many individuals who choose to make the journey to countries outside their homeland by boat. The boats featured in the artwork incorporate this diversity and are reflections of Indian, Italian, Russian, Spanish and Asian boats. Whether journeying for pleasure or immigration, people are united in their desire for a ‘sea change’. A life that offers more than the one they had. The journey, not the destination, is the seed, the beginning of a new life and experiences.
